Introducing the Advent Parable Series
We sing about the Savior being born, and Him being born in us. Christmas is about our new birth in response to His birth 2,000 years ago. And yet many do not know what being born again actually means, or how this marvelous new birth is attained.
Over the years I have written simple Christmas parables designed to communicate the basic biblical truths of salvation to children. They are intended to be read and discussed. At the end of each parable in this four-book series, there is a Going Deeper section to encourage discussion between parents and their children. I suggest reading a parable on each Sunday of Advent in conjunction with your other Christmas traditions.
